Styrene-Acrylic Copolymers
Cost-effective styrene-acrylic emulsions delivering strong adhesion, excellent alkali resistance, and balanced hardness — the smart choice for interior paints, primers, and paper coatings.
Product Overview
Styrene-acrylic copolymer emulsions combine the hardness and gloss contribution of polystyrene with the flexibility and adhesion of acrylic co-monomers. The result is a cost-effective binder family that outperforms pure vinyl acetate in scrub resistance, alkali stability, and water resistance — while remaining more economical than pure acrylic systems.
JCT’s SA grades are widely used in interior wall paints (D2/D3 class), concrete primers, paper and board coatings, and carpet backing. APEO-free and low-VOC formulations are available across the range.
